Hampstead Golf Club or HGC as it’s fondly known by members is a gem of North London. Tucked into the hills away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this 9-hole gem bends and weaves in a layout reminiscent of a more ancient time of golf. While simple on paper, a perfect round here is illusive to all that attempt it with difficulty lurking at every corner. My assignment, capture the uniqueness of this course and all it has to offer.
