I’m Angus (Gus) Taglio
A London-based photographer specialising in golf. I shoot courses, brands and editorial using digital and drone, choosing the approach each project demands.
I came to photography at fourteen and have been shooting seriously ever since. Golf followed shortly after, though it took until my mid-twenties before the game really got its hooks in. As a member at Hampstead Golf Club and a regular on the course, I understand it from the inside; which moments carry weight, how a fairway changes across a day's light, what a course looks like to someone who actually plays it.
That perspective isn't incidental to the work.
It’s central to it.
Golf photography done well is unhurried. It requires knowledge of open landscape light, an instinct for the game, and the discipline to wait for the frame rather than force it. The best images, whether editorial, architectural or campaign, look like they couldn't have been taken any other way. That's the standard I hold every project to.
I work with clubs, brands and publications on everything from course and lifestyle photography to campaigns, product content and editorial commissions throughout the UK and beyond.
