I am Angus Edward Taglio, a photographer and filmmaker trading as a sole trader in London, United Kingdom. I am the data controller for the personal information described below. You can reach me at studio@angusedwardtaglio.com.
When you use the enquiry form I collect your name, email address, the club or brand you represent, the type of work you are enquiring about, your timing and whatever you write in the brief. If you email, call or message me on WhatsApp I hold that correspondence.
Calls are scheduled through Calendly, which collects your name, email address and the time you choose.
In the course of commissioned work I photograph and film people. An image of an identifiable person is that person's personal information. Where a shoot involves recognisable individuals I agree with the commissioning client, in advance, who is responsible for obtaining permission and what the images may be used for.
To answer your enquiry and quote for work, on the basis of legitimate interests, because you contacted me about a commission and expect a reply. To deliver a commission and keep proper records, on the basis of contract and the legal obligation to retain tax records. To send you work you have commissioned, on the basis of contract.
I do not send marketing emails to people who have not asked for them, and I do not sell or rent anyone's information to anyone.
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after two years. Client records and correspondence are kept for six years after the end of the engagement, which is the period HMRC requires for business records. Photographic and film archives are retained as a working archive unless you ask otherwise, held on encrypted storage with an encrypted backup.
I use a small number of service providers who process information on my behalf: Webflow for website hosting and form submissions, Google Workspace for email, Calendly for scheduling, Backblaze for encrypted offsite backup, and Attio for client records. Each of these is based in the United States, and those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards. I share your information with no one else, except where I am required to by law.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email studio@angusedwardtaglio.com and I will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
